Steam Addicts Anonymous: Weekly Roundup 36

Eve online is finishing the touches on a very interesting platform, among other news.

  • The classic Aztec map and a new arms race mode have been added to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive. Excellent. This is just one of many updates.
  • THQ is currently laying people off and launching new projects in an effort to save their company.
  • Gettysburg: Armored Combat is proving more popular than expected. But then, you do not see a steampunk civil war tale every day.
  • TF2 is getting some awesome hats which only come around to one player every day! They don’t go randomly though, they go to the people who give the most gifts, win the most duels and purchase the most stamps. As the engineer might would, dag nag it.
  • Trine 2 is 50% off, as is Gotham City Imposters. One of these is a very good game, the other less so.
  • Magic 2012 gets it’s own game bundle and gold icon in the Steam store. The other games are going to be jealous.

No matter how much I fall asleep at my computer and dream about it, Guild Wars 2 won’t come to Steam any faster. Oh well, at least I have Guild Wars 1 to keep me company until then. As usual, be sure to leave us feedback on what you would like to hear about next edition. Help us help you!
