Danny is ready for PAX and we are hoping for some big news from there. Let us start with some smaller news:
- There are many bundles out right now with a variety of Steam keys, including Indie Royale and Indie Gala.
- Spiral Knights is currently having an anniversary celebration.
- Guild Wars 2 has a release date of 6/26/2012. Hopefully this will not change.
- The Witcher 2: Enhanced Edition is going to have a ton of bonus content and extras.
- EA was voted the worst company in America on the Consumerist. Kotaku was quick to defend them as usual. We are going to let these events speak for themselves.
- Men of War is getting yet another expansion, and you can get the old game free if you pre-purchase.
Some of the people around here don’t see as addicted to Steam with the advent of PAX. A bit ironic, but we are sure that they will be right back to gaming to the exclusion of hygiene and everything else. At least in a few days. Quick to defend them as usual? I guess we have a group of myopic writers at Steam Addicts. Kotaku couldn’t have enabled the ME3 Alternate Ending crazies more with its constant coverage and editorializing of anything concerning ME3’s ending. They probably were the major force in bringing the pain to Bioware, which is EA BTW, and forcing them to announce the “extended cut” DLC.
I guess that’s the kind of reporting that you can expect from Valve fanatics and Half Life crazies.
