The sales are over, so it’s time to gear up for a new year.
- The Darkness was a cult hit. Now the Darkness 2 is coming to Steam in February. You might enjoy this mix of super powers and shooting.
- Q.U.B.E. made a real splash in the indie community, as designer Notch tweeted about it multiple times. If you love a game somewhere between Portal and Minecraft, this might be for you.
- Valve released some sales figures to select companies. According to their internal records, they’ve seen a boost in profits for 7 years in a row.
- Macintosh users rejoice, the excellent Limbo has come to your console of choice!
- Nation Red is having a free weekend. While it’s basically Smash TV, it does have an innovative perk system. Want to infect zombies with a plague that sets them on fire? You can do that with the right perks.
- Paradox has it’s own cult of die hard fans. Some of you may be excited to hear that King Arthur II is coming out soon.
Remember, if you’re really susceptible to addiction don’t play any of the free weekends with your friends. These are gateway games.
