It seemingly came out of nowhere, but what I speak is the truth. Valve’s smash hit, award winning masterpiece Portal is now free until Sept. 20th. Why the sudden generosity? Valve has kick-started an initiative called Learn With Portals, a program aimed at helping children learn more about physics and hone their critical thinking skills.
If you don’t already own Portal, then you really should grab it. As long as you install it to your computer before September 20th, the game will remain in your library forever. Of course, if you still want to buy the game, you can still put money down on the Orange Box, but the original Portal remains free. Whether you’re on the PC, or Mac, you really need to catch this before time runs out.
