After very mixed reviews for the two Fallout: New Vegas add-ons Dead Money and Honest Hearts, developer Obsidian seems to have finally got it right with their latest DLC, titled “Old World Blues”. Steam Addicts’ own Walter has posted his review and here’s what he has to say:
While not the longest DLC in history, Old World Blues throws new stuff at you at every turn. Before you’ve left the starting area, you’ll have multiple new perks — and probably several new weapons — depending on your speech checks.
But what makes Old World Blues most charming is the unique style of the story. You’ll fight giant dogs and tiny Deathclaws, receive wacky weapons (such as the X-2 Antenna), and be surprised and entertained throughout. Overall it’s a surreal and wonderful experience.
Great article to read through and pics to peruse if you’re making a purchasing decision on this latest offering in the Fallout franchise.
